Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a new toxicological software package, ToxLab™ 2.0.  This innovative software package, available to North America, is specifically designed to provide intelligent sequencing and toxicological reporting solutions for drugs of abuse testing, therapeutic drug monitoring, environmental toxicology, and forensic applications.

Designed to complement Thermo’s GC/MS Series of mass spectrometers, ToxLab 2.0 offers user-friendly, automated programs and reports that offer unprecedented productivity and reliability.

Unique to ToxLab 2.0 is the built-in intelligent sequencing that diagnoses sample analyses and corrects faults without user intervention.  ToxLab 2.0 is designed to automatically perform checks and solve problems in real time, minimizing user input and maximizing productivity.  Because the software makes decisions based on sample data, the user is provided with continual sample analysis coupled with the best possible results in the least amount of time without operator intervention.

ToxLab Forms Reporting Software

In addition, with worldwide availability is ToxLab^TM Forms, a layered application specifically designed to provide toxicological reporting solutions for drugs of abuse testing, therapeutic drug monitoring, environmental toxicology, and forensic applications. 

ToxLab Forms provides comprehensive, automated reports, including batch summary, calibration, and sample reports.  The batch summary report provides information on the internal standards and ion ratios, gives warning and failure messages, and gives room for data review notation.  The calibration report gives information on the calibration curve for each component.  The sample report gives calculated amount, ion ratio information, warning messages, and it also flags data that may be questionable.
