The Nicolet CentaurµsTM infrared microscope offers high performance with simplicity when sample throughput and productivity are essential. Its optical design lets you determine important sample points before collecting data, eliminating the need to switch between the view and collect modes.
Nicolet Centaurµs standard sampling modes include transmission, reflection, and attenuated total reflectance (ATR). The 10X Triton objective is permanently aligned yet flexible. ATR crystals are user changeable in seconds, thereby minimizing the need for time-consuming sample preparation. The standard Contact AlertTM signals the optimum ATR pressure, eliminating potential crystal damage. The integrated, permanently aligned video camera delivers exceptional views of the sample image every time. IR spectra are efficiently collected from samples as small as 20 microns. Optional, automated X, Y sampling stage and autofocus increase the productivity of this IR micro sampling system by allowing you to automate many of your routine operations.
