Equipped with the next-generation DuraBrite™ XL source and DynaMax XR detection system, the DSQ II single quadrupole GC/MS system is able to detect smaller amounts of compounds in difficult matrices, translating into less sample prep time, smaller injection volumes, less sample usage, more confidence – real productivity. Combined with intuitive software applications and innovative Productivity Solutions, the DSQ II provides a complete GC/MS solution for routine applications, while offering ultimate performance for challenging GC/MS analyses.

The DSQ II, configured with the proven Thermo Scientific TRACE GC UltraTM gas chromatograph, delivers results you would expect from high end systems at an affordable price. For added productivity, specify an AI/AS 3000 or TriPlusTM Autosampler for high volume applications. Couple the DSQ II with the Thermo Scientific FOCUS GC gas chromatograph for full-size GC/MS performance and productivity in a space-saving package - ideal for labs with unlimited analytical needs but with limited space or budgets.

  • Scan speeds greater than 11,000 amu/sec for fast chromatography and improved spectral integrity   
  • Innovative, curved pre-filter reduces noise and protects the quadrupole from the dirtiest of matrices 
  • Sequential Full Scan/SIM acquisitions acquire full scan and SIM data in a single injection  
  • Full-scan EI, SIM and optional PICI and NICI (ECD-MS) modes, plus alternating PPINICI scans     
  • Choice of three turbomolecular pump capacities (70 L/s, 250 L/s or 200/200 L/s differential)   
  • TRACE GC Ultra Injection Port Options: Split/splitless; PTV, or Cold On-Column, all capable of Large Volume Injection
